To re-strengthen the resolution adopted by the Konyak Region on July 25, 2024, an emergency meeting was convened by NSCN-K (Kitovi) on September 6, 2024. The meeting, chaired by Mongnei Konyak, RAO, saw the participation of over 200 Konyak Nation workers, including figures such as Aton Wangnao, Region Secretary, Brig Wangpoh Konyak, GSO-1 Naga Army GPRN/NSCN, Brig Shohlo Konyak, Eastern Commander, and seven outpost commanders from Mon, Aboi, Naginimora, Tizit, Tobu, Chen, and Phomching.
“The meeting was one of a kind where all the members had the same vision for same cause without any disputes and overwhelm in unison to support the collective Leadership of Maj (Retd) RM Lotha President GPRN/NSCN, Chen-nyeim Konyak Vice President GPRN/NSCN, N Kitovi Zhimomi Ato Kilonser GPRN/NSCN and Jungshi Wati Ao Dy Ato Kilonser GPRN/NSCN,” an update from the MIP said.
