NSCN-K (Kitovi) terminates Lt Colonel Yapmuli for breach of party discipline

The NSCN-K (Kitovi) has officially terminated Lt. Colonel Yapmuli from its party membership, effective immediately.

According to a notification issued on September 13, 2024, the decision was made due to Lt Colonel Yapmuli’s repeated associations with adversaries, which the party claims have compromised the sanctity and integrity of the Party by associating with the adversaries in many occasions.

The termination notice cited breaches of party discipline as outlined in Section-A (clauses 1 & 2) and Section-C (clauses 1, 3, 4, & 6) of the NSCN’s internal regulations. The announcement states, “In order to safeguard the Party, the undersigned, as per the provisions laid down in the party discipline, hereby terminate Lt Colonel Yapmuli from the ‘Active Party Membership (NSCN)’ on this day the 13th of September 2024.”
