The National Socialist Council of Nagaland (K) Niki has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of AM Kaiba, Kilonser and Convener of the Political Advisory Board, NSCN/GPRN, who passed away on September 2, 2024.
Kaiba was a man of honesty and strong moral principles, a statement from the MIP read, adding, Kaiba remained committed to serve the Naga people. He dedicated his life to the cause of Naga people’s rights, serving the Naga nation until his last breath, it added.
The NSCN/GPRN recollected how even in his early days he was involved in various civil society initiatives and actively served the people. “On committing himself to Naga nationalism, he sacrificed all the comforts and worked dedicatedly holding various important portfolios and positions,” it said.
Kaiba was also a member of the Ceasefire Board, NSCN/GPRN.
“On his death, the Naga people have lost a true and dedicated Naga leader and void caused by his death will be hard to fill,” it added.
The NSCN/GPRN paid homage to the departed soul and asserted that the selfless sacrifice made by A M Kaiba for the Naga people shall be always remembered in the annals of Naga history.
