Mokokchung, 26 October (MTNews): The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MRA) of the NSCN-K (Niki) is set to organize a one-day Naga National Prayer Day on October 31, starting at 7 AM, at Sumi Baptist Church, Purana Bazaar, Dimapur.

In an official communication, the Kilonser of MRA has informed that a prayer of consecration, seeking forgiveness and blessings for the Naga nation and its national leaders, is of utmost importance in seeking deliverance from the Almighty God in the pursuit of the Naga people’s goals. The service will be conducted by several highly spiritual leaders and counselors.

The MRA has advised all national workers under the banner of NSCN/GPRN, based in and around Dimapur district, as well as nearby regions and sub-regions, to arrive at the venue before 7 AM while observing a fast. The organizing committee will provide lunch to all participants after the conclusion of the service.

For regions situated far from Dimapur, the MRA has instructed the region caretakers/chairmen to follow the proposed prayer service and organize similar events in their respective regions on the same day and at the same time.
