Mokokchung, 11 August (MTNews): The NSCN-K(Niki) has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of Wangkhai Wangsa, who succumbed to bullet injuries on Thursday in the Tirap district of Arunachal. It did not mention how he sustained the bullet injuries.
According to the MIP of NSCN-K(Niki), Late Wangkhai Wangsa was serving as Khapur (probation) under the establishment of Arunachal Affairs, NSCN/GPRN, and “he gave his life in the line of duty for the cause of the Naga people.”
“His martyrdom and sacrifice for the nation shall never be forgotten but shall remain etched in the annals of Naga history,” the MIP stated, paying its highest respect and homage to the martyred while also praying for the eternal solace of his soul.
Furthermore, the NSCN/GPRN conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
