The 24th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2024 (Lt. Kekuojalie Sachii and Lt. Vikhozo Yhoshii), organized by the Angami Students’ Union (ASU), will take place from September 14 to October 5 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, under the theme “Goal for Peace.”
A total of 43 teams have confirmed their participation, including 9 teams from Manipur.


The fixture draw was conducted today at the ASU office in Kohima.

Nagaland’s Deputy Chief Minister, Yanthungo Patton, will grace the inaugural ceremony on September 14 at 5:00 PM. Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) President Medovi Rhi will deliver a solidarity message, while the welcome address will be given by ASU President Khriesamhalie David Mere.

The inaugural program will be chaired by organizing committee convenor Vizokho Zashümo, with ASU Games & Sports Secretary Metebo-o Sote administering the oath to the participating teams.

A curtain-raiser from 4:00 PM will feature various artists, including Vetho, Moko, Mengu, Guru Gee, Tutu, Litsuku, Vidi & Vivo, and the 15th NAP (IR) Mahila Band.

Wreath laying and flag hoisting will take place at NSF Martyrs’ Park, Kohima, at 8:00 AM on September 14.

The prize money for the champion has been increased to Rs. 3 lakh, with the runner-up receiving Rs. 1.80 lakh. Semi-finalists will each receive Rs. 40,000, and quarter-finalists will receive Rs. 25,000 each.

Individual awards for Best Midfielder, Best Custodian, Best Defender, and Top Scorer are set at Rs. 10,000 each, while the Player of the Tournament will be awarded Rs. 50,000.

Additionally, a technical briefing will be held on September 12 at 2:00 PM at IG Stadium, Kohima.

The nine teams from Manipur are Asüfü Football Academy; Asüfü Christian Institute; F4C Academy; SNGC Football School; SAHEI FC; Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong; Delai FC; UE FC; and Pehlum Lamhil Lawn Academy.
