The 25th Anniversary Edition of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy, one of Nagaland’s most celebrated football tournaments, has reached its final stages after a successful run through the third round. Officially kicked off on September 13, 2025, the tournament has been held across two venues — Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kohima and Chümoukedima Football Stadium. The remaining fixtures, including the grand finale, will be played at IG Stadium, Kohima.
So far, 29 matches have been completed, producing an impressive 174 goals at an average of six goals per match. The tournament has also seen 58 yellow cards and 10 red cards. Thokchom Adison Singh of Mez & Co. currently leads the scoring chart with 10 goals. A total of 29 teams, comprising 696 players and officials, have been eliminated as the competition tightens toward the knockout rounds.
Starting October 6, vehicle entry into the restricted area of IG Stadium will be strictly limited to tournament officials, invited guests, and participating teams, in order to avoid congestion. Organisers have also reiterated that intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited within the stadium premises, warning that violators will face disciplinary action.
As part of its official media partnership, the organisers have announced that only Dox Marketing & Media and BingeBOXX Live Streaming are authorised to stream the matches. No other private channels or entities will be allowed to conduct live coverage inside the stadium.
Meanwhile, the Ticket Committee has informed that ticket rates will remain unchanged until the pre-quarterfinal stage. However, beginning with the quarterfinals, night matches will be held, and ticket prices will be revised to Rs 100. The new rates will remain in effect until the conclusion of the tournament.
