Calls for release of individual marks and category-wise cut-off details
The Nagaland unit of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) on Saturday held a press conference at Congress Bhavan, Dimapur, raising serious concerns over the lack of transparency in the recruitment process conducted by the Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB).
Addressing media persons, NSUI office bearers said that the absence of basic disclosure measures such as individual candidate marks and category-wise cut-off scores has led to confusion and mistrust among aspirants who appeared for the recently held NSSB examinations.
NSUI has put forward two core demands to the NSSB and the state government: Release of individual marks on each candidate’s dashboard; and Declaration of category-wise cut-off marks for all posts advertised.
The student organization asserted that fulfilling these demands would ensure fairness and uphold public confidence in the recruitment process.
