Kohima, 27 October (MTNews): The Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) has expressed shock over the untimely demise of C Akang Ao, who passed away at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) on the evening of Thursday, 26 October 2023. C Akang Ao was one of the active and founding members of the Nagaland Tribes Council. According to the NTC, he was someone who did not waver in his principles and stood his ground as a man of integrity.
“He was an experienced, sincere, and dedicated individual committed to the welfare of society. His early departure for his heavenly home has not only created a void in the Ao Community but also among all Nagas in general,” the NTC said while mourning Ao’s death and expressing condolences to the grieving family.
