Dr. Biplab Pal of the Department of Physics, Nagaland University (NU), Lumami, has been selected for the Indian National Science Academy’s (INSA) Visiting Scientist Fellowship for 2026–27.
Under the fellowship, Pal will visit the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Ahmedabad, for one month to undertake advanced research in collaboration with Dr. Paramita Dutta of PRL’s Department of Theoretical Physics.
The fellowship aims to promote advanced research, specialised training and scientific collaboration among research institutions in India.
