The event was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jagadish K. Patnaik, whose address set the tone for the discussions. Prof. Nigamananda Das, Head of the Department, welcomed the participants, while Prof. Suresh Kurapati outlined the seminar’s objectives.

Eminent scholars who shared their insights included Prof. Chong Seng Tong and Prof. Z. Ahamed from Malaysia, Prof. Bijoy Lal Basu from Dhaka University, Prof. Sravani Biswas from Tezpur University, Prof. Shreya Bhattacharji from Central University of Jharkhand, and Prof. Dwijen Sharma from NEHU, Tura Campus. Their lectures covered themes such as deconstruction, metafiction, identity politics, and the evolution of literary meaning in postmodernism.

Beyond academia, the seminar also highlighted Nagaland’s cultural heritage. Students presented traditional performances that enriched the experience for attendees. Faculty members, including Prof. Akthar Jamal Khan, Dr. Lemtila Alinger, and Dr. I. Talisenla Imsong, chaired technical sessions, facilitating engaging discussions.

On the final day, Prof. Jano S. Liegise delivered the valedictory note, summarizing key deliberations. Dr. R.
