Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) – Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum – on Wednesday assured uninterrupted supply of petrol, diesel and LPG across Nagaland amid prevailing global uncertainties impacting the oil and gas sector.
In a joint statement, the companies said adequate stocks of petroleum products were available across the supply chain and replenishment was being carried out continuously to meet consumer demand.
The oil companies stated that fuel dispensing operations were continuing normally across retail outlets in the state and that supplies were being maintained without restrictions through terminals, depots, LPG bottling plants and fuel stations.
LPG distribution to domestic consumers was also proceeding smoothly, the statement said.
The OMCs further informed that they were closely coordinating logistics, stock positioning and distribution planning to ensure uninterrupted energy access across Nagaland.
“The overall supply situation remains stable and under constant monitoring,” the statement added.
The companies also appealed to citizens to avoid unnecessary panic buying and advised the public to rely only on official communications issued by Oil Marketing Companies for authentic information regarding fuel availability.
