As a part of school 25th Anniversary Celebration, the Oking Christian School Kohima, an establishment of Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima, conducted Orientation Day on April 2, 2022 with Dr. Zavise Rume, Professor, SCERT Nagaland Kohima as the Resource Person.
Earlier, Shri Zhopota Rhakho Administrator of the School had expressed a note of warm welcome as well as introduced the Day’s program officials. Rev. Vikuo Rhi, Associate Pastor of CBCK pronounced the opening prayer.
The students of Classes of 6 to 10 attended the mentioned program.
The Resource Speaker meaningfully stressed on the following topics; (1) Potentials of Being a Student and (2) Students and Career Prospects. Interactive moment was observed during the Questions and Answers session after the first two sessions. During the concluding session, the Resource Person Dr. Rume had a motivating hour with the teachers emphasizing “Skills of Classroom Management and Techniques of Evaluation.”
