Mokokchung, October 18 (MTNews): Sound Wave Studio Mokokchung conducted a ‘One-day Audio Engineering and Church Sound Workshop’ at Aliba Baptist Church under Mokokchung district on Tuesday.
Sound Wave Studio Mokokchung began offering a three-month certificate course on Audio Engineering and Church Sound from March 2022 as part of an initiative to train individuals in sound system operations for churches. The program is producing progressive results with over 45 trainees passing out the certificate course and actively working as sound operators in their respective churches.
During the session, Nungshi Pongen, Pastor of Aliba Baptist Church, praised the Course Facilitator Lima Lemtur, Proprietor of Sound Wave Studio Mokokchung, for offering audio engineering training that would allow them to be self-reliant.
Lima Lemtur, Proprietor of Sound Wave Studio Mokokchung further expressed his gratitude towards the Aliba Baptist Church for hosting the ‘One-day Audio Engineering and Church Sound Workshop’, stating that it was a noble gesture of the church to identify the problem of unemployment faced by the educated unemployed youths and taking the initiative of hosting the workshop at the church.
Eight trainees from Aliba and the surrounding area attended Phase 4 of the workshop, which was conducted at Aliba Baptist Church.
