A one-day Community Extension Service was held on August 8, 2025, at Tzüsapang Baptist Church, Mokokchung. The event was organized by the Department of Political Science, Fazl Ali College, in collaboration with the church. The theme was “Constitutional Rights and Civic Duties: Awareness for an Inclusive Society.” The program aimed to help participants understand their rights and duties as citizens and connect them with Christian values.

The event began with Putusosang from the fifth semester serving as the chairperson, followed by an invocation prayer led by Senti Jamir, Deacon of the church. Rev. W. Supong, Pastor of Tzüsapang Baptist Church, delivered a warm welcome and shared words of wisdom and Dr. E. Benrithung Patton gave the introductory remarks. Sentinaro, a fifth-semester student, presented a poem titled “I for an Impassioned Indian.” This was followed by paper presentations by Sangpangmeren on “Inclusive Citizenship: Building a Just and Participatory Society” and Temsuienla on “Fundamental Rights: Empowering Every Citizen”.

A key part of the event was the “Civic Values Circle,” an interactive game led by students. Participants discussed different rights and duties, sharing personal thoughts and Bible verses that reflect them. The session encouraged active participation from both youth and elders.

Feedback was shared by Helen Jamir, and a wrap-up reflection was given by Dr Imnazenla Longkumer.

Temjeneremang gave the acknowledgment note, and Sunep Jamir led the closing prayer. The event ended with light refreshments and positive responses from the community.
