Opang Jamir unveiled his latest single, “Sorojungla (Beautiful Woman),” on his official YouTube channel, OpangJamir, on October 25. The track will be available on Spotify starting November 7.
Best known as the frontman of the Nagaland-based band Avancer and one half of the pop duo The Twin Effect, Jamir continues to develop his individual sound with this new solo release, highlighting his ongoing artistic growth.
“Sorojungla (Beautiful Woman)” is a gentle yet rhythmic ode to feminine beauty, sung in the rich melodies of the Ao dialect. Through poetic lines such as “Your beauty illuminates the world” and “The stars and moon enhance your radiance,” the song praises a woman whose beauty, kindness, and gentle voice light up the world.
