The Foothill Ao Youth Organisation (FAYO), the Ao Youth Forum Diphupar (AYFD), and the Diphupar Naga Youth Organisation (DNYO) have strongly condemned an alleged abduction case involving two employees of ‘Living Water’ packaged drinking water, as well as the extortion demand on a bonafide citizen of Diphupar Village.

DNYO, in its recent public rally, condemned this deplorable act and reiterated its stance on “One Government One Tax,” declaring it will no longer remain a mute spectator. “We demand the immediate arrest of the culprits involved; otherwise, we will be compelled to take our own course of action deemed fit. DNYO will not tolerate such acts of cowardice, and any Naga Political Group (NPG) involved will face non-cooperation from Diphupar village,” it declared.

“The DNYO is outraged by this monstrous crime. We call upon law enforcement agencies to apprehend the perpetrators and promptly charge them under relevant sections of the law,” it added.

The AYFD vehemently condemned the unwarranted abduction of two bona fide members of their community, Temsu and Akum, within Diphupar on Thursday.

“We are deeply disturbed and outraged by this heinous act, which violates the fundamental human rights and dignity of our fellow members. The abduction has created an atmosphere of fear, anxiety, and insecurity among our people, undermining the very fabric of our peaceful community,” it stated.

AYFD appealed to the authorities for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the abduction.

“The Ao Youth Forum Diphupar urges every citizen, irrespective of community and tribal affiliation, to strongly condemn such heinous activities within our Naga society and voice their resentment against such antisocial elements,” AYFD emphasized.

On the morning of October 10, the driver and handyman of M/s Living Water in Naga United Village, Chumukedima, were kidnapped by unknown miscreants. The Foothill Ao Youth Organisation, under whose purview this business is geographically located, condemned this “reprehensible act.”

“The Foothill Ao Youth Organisation appeals to all right-thinking citizens to vociferously speak out against such evil acts and encroachments on personal liberty and life. The Foothill Ao Youth Organisation calls upon law enforcement agencies to promptly apprehend the transgressors and penalize them according to the law of the land,” it urged.
