Kohima | 18 March(MTNews): Oriental College Kohima organizes Faculty Development Program on “Aligning Personal and Professional Development with Institutional Objectives,” with DrDominic Meyieho, Controller of Examinations at St Joseph College (Autonomous), Jakhama, as the resource person. He emphasized that teaching is a sacred profession, where success is measured by effective learning. The achievement of learning outcomes is directly linked to well-defined teaching objectives, reinforcing the belief that every student is capable of learning.

Outcome-Based Education (OBE) serves as a model for ensuring quality education, with legislation mandating its implementation in all schools.

The program was chaired by Setuolie Theünuo, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, OCK. The welcome address was delivered by Chubanenla, Dean of Student’s Welfare, OCK. The program was divided into two sessions.
