A total of 15,665 candidates have registered so far for the ongoing recruitment process for 1,176 constable posts, according to an update issued by Nagaland Police on Sunday at 5 PM.

Of the registered candidates, 13,692 have completed their applications by paying the examination fee of Rs 300. The department noted that several candidates who have registered are yet to pay the required fee.

“If you intend appearing for the recruitment, kindly pay the examination fee before the last date i.e. 07/11/2025,” the update stated.

Online registration for the 1,176 constable (GD) posts in the Nagaland Police began on October 6 and will remain open until November 7. The department also clarified that only digital applications are being accepted for this recruitment drive, with no provision for physical form submissions. This marks the first time the Nagaland Police has fully transitioned to an online-only application process.
