Metsubo Jamir stated after the book’s release that some individuals desire power, fortune, and change in the world, while others, like T. Senka Ao, write for the people with no glory or honour. He stated that he is humbled after hearing about the author’s life and works.

He also discussed the importance of language, saying that many local dialects are on the brink of extinction. He also stated that speaking too many languages is a problem because there will be no unity if there are too many languages.

He also stated that when we relocate to other cities and areas, our culture suffers because we lose our language. “Generations come and go, but our language should live on, and parents must work hard to teach our children,” he added.

While presenting a brief exhortation, Dr. Temjen Jamir, Chairman of ASLB, stated that we take books for granted and believe that we can simply write a book, but not everyone can write. He stated that publishing a book requires talent and devotion, and the author has committed his entire life to writing.

Helen Jamir, former Principal of Fazl Ali College, gave a brief history of the author’s life and works, adding that the author is a creative writer who has written 107 short stories. In her review of the book ‘Akumlir Longkong,’ she stated that the book contains 23 short stories based on true incidents, moral stories, and life lessons.

Earlier, Dr. R Zulu, Associate Pastor, Kumlong Baptist Church pronounced the dedicatory prayer during the book launch.
