Patton inspects alternative accommodation for Nagaland House visitors in Delhi

Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton, along with Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha, inspected a premises in Delhi being considered as an alternative accommodation for people from Nagaland following the recent fire incident at Nagaland House.

In a post on social media, Patton said the inspection was carried out as arrangements were being made in view of the situation at Nagaland House.

The premises were reviewed for their facilities and suitability for people travelling to the national capital, particularly those visiting for medical treatment, official work and other essential purposes.

“Our priority is to ensure that our people have access to safe, convenient and comfortable accommodation in Delhi during this period,” Patton said.

The proposed alternative accommodation is intended to provide temporary support to visitors from Nagaland while arrangements are being made following the fire incident at Nagaland House.
