The Phom Baptist Church Association (PBCA) in collaboration with World Vision, India Longleng observed PBCA – Green Mission Sunday cum World Environment Day 2022 with S. Phangnon Konyak, MP Rajya Sabha, and Dharmendra Prakash, IFS, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & Head of Forest Force, Nagaland as the Special Guest and Guest of Honour respectively on 5th June 2022 at PBCA Conversation Hall, Nyengching.
Phangnon also inaugurated the Common Facility Centre (CHC) building at PBCA Nyengching Longleng on 4th June. To mark the event of PBCA – Green Mission and World Environment day 2022, a two-day tree plantation drive was initiated along the roadside from Dikhu river to Longleng town jointly taken up by the District Administration, Phom Students’ Conference, PBCA, and students body of Yachem, Noksosang, Yaongyimchen, Alayong, Orangkong, and Hamlikong.
The program was held under the theme “Preserving God’s own Green Earth – One Earth”.
