The Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Nagaland, has announced that its pension revision cell, which has been operational for the past seven years, will be closed. Pensioners who retired before June 1, 2017, have been urged to submit their revision forms by March 31, 2025, as no further cases will be entertained after the deadline.
According to the office, the pension revision process was initiated on April 26, 2018, in line with the Nagaland Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017, as notified by the Finance Department through Notification, dated December 6, 2017. The revision cell was initially meant to function for a short period but continued due to delays in form submissions.
With the decision to close the revision cell, pensioners who have yet to complete the process have been advised to submit their forms before the stipulated deadline.
