A coordination meeting for the upcoming Mini Hornbill Unity Festival, scheduled to take place from December 5 to 7, 2024, was held on November 4, 2024, at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office conference hall in the new District Headquarters of Peren.
Deputy Commissioner Hiazu Meru emphasized that the Mini Hornbill Unity Festival aims to strengthen and promote unity within the district. He informed attendees that the official program will be organized at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office complex, while additional events will take place at Zero Point Beikingpuichak, located below the DC Office in Peren.
During the meeting, it was decided to construct a community morung at both the D.C. Office complex and Zero Point Beikingpuichak. The assembly also approved plans for riverside camping during the three-day festival.
Officials and representatives from various organizations, including NZPO, Zeliangrong Baudi, Zeme Council, Liangmai Council, Kuki Inpi, and Rongmei Council, attended the meeting.
