Mokokchung, September 8 (MTNews): In a first for the district, Peren District Football Association is set to introduce the first Peren District Football League with eight teams in fray for the new edition, reported SportsLive Nagaland.
The tournament will be held in the month of October at the newly renovated astro-turf ground, Jalukie. Reputed club, Barak FC will also be reportedly participating in the tournament.
In regard to the tournament, a pre-launch program is said to be held on September 10 to kick-start the tournament at Peren Town.
Raithu Newmai has been credited for making the tournament possible in Peren.
