A team led by SP Peren has successfully rescued two kidnapped employees of NICADPL, who were working on the Peren-Maram road projects. The operation also resulted in significant recoveries, including weapons, ammunition, mobile phones, cash, and a wireless set. One perpetrator has been arrested.
Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Y Patton praised the coordinated efforts that led to this success. “Their rapid response and well-executed operation led to the safe recovery of the victims,” Patton stated.
He lauded the team’s bravery in the face of extreme dangers and their professional conduct in ensuring the safety of the hostages. “This successful rescue operation demonstrates the dedication and skill of our police force.
Their efforts have ensured the safety of our citizens and sent a strong message against such criminal activities,” Patton added.
The Deputy CM called on the public to continue supporting the police force in their efforts to maintain peace and security in Nagaland.
