Coinciding with the nationwide fortnight-long campaign “Swachhata Hi Seva 2025” under the theme “Swachhotsav,” the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Nagaland, today joined the rest of the nation in observing the ‘Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath’ initiative by conducting a statewide cleanliness drive.
The state-level cleanliness drive was also carried out in and around the PHED Directorate, Kohima.
This initiative is a call to action for citizens to contribute one hour of voluntary swachhata service.
The initiative was undertaken by PHED to promote cleanliness and reinforce the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining a hygienic and sustainable environment, according to Thepfulie, State IEC Consultant, WSSO, PHED.
