Khrülhüto Venyo, son of Vepratso Venyo, today emerged as the wrestling champion at the 54th Thüvopisümi Youth Association (TYA) Wrestling-cum-Games and Sports Meet 2025, held at Thüvopisümi village in Phek district.

Vetanyi Venyo, son of late Cekhwüsayi Venyo, secured second place, while Lhükhozo Shijoh, son of Veswüsa Shijoh, and Lüdove Venyo, son of Phiveo Venyo, finished third and fourth respectively.
Shevohu Nienu, Chairman of the Phek Town Council, graced the inaugural function as the special guest. TYA President Nülhüta Dozo delivered the presidential address, and GB Lhüveto Venyo exhorted the gathering.
The oath for the wrestlers was administered by TSA Games and Sports Secretary Vevo Dozo. The programme was chaired by Künükhrüyi Dozo.
Vetsüta Venyo, Chairman of the Thüvopisü Village Council, will be the guest of honour at the valedictory function scheduled to be held on December 19.
