A day-long conclave of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers was held in New Delhi today, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi chairing the session. The meeting, organized by the BJP’s Good Governance Department, focused on key governance issues across NDA-ruled states.

The conclave, held at the Ashoka Hotel, brought together around 20 Chief Ministers and 18 Deputy Chief Ministers from all 20 NDA-ruled states. Senior Union ministers, including BJP national president JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, were also in attendance.
Nagaland Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio participated in the conclave and, through social media, reaffirmed his government’s commitment to promoting good governance and adopting best practices aimed at realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
“We paid tributes to the heroes of #OperationSindoor, & reaffirmed India’s unity against terrorism & threats to peace,” Rio added.
During the meeting, two key resolutions were passed: one on Operation Sindoor and another on the caste census. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde highlighted the importance of these decisions, stating, “Two resolutions were passed, first on Operation Sindoor and second on caste census. Everyone thanked and congratulated our armed forces and Prime Minister Modi for the success of Operation Sindoor.”
The resolution on Operation Sindoor was proposed by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and supported by Eknath Shinde. BJP national president JP Nadda noted that the ongoing campaign against Naxalism was also a major topic of discussion. “Our Chhattisgarh Chief Minister shared insights on the fight against Naxalism and the progress being made. Chhattisgarh Home Minister Vijay Sharma emphasized efforts to rehabilitate Naxal-affected areas and integrate them into the mainstream,” he said.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah briefed the leaders on the Centre’s strategy to combat Left-wing extremism. Nadda added, “He guided us and informed all the Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers about how we have used our strength to defeat it.”
