Following the vandalism of the house in Ungma where Congress candidate for 26 Aonglenden AC, Toshipokba Longkumer was staying, the Chief Agent to Longkumer, Amongin said that they have filed an FIR in Mokokchung Police Station II.
“The police came for investigation in the morning. We have submitted a follow-up FIR where we have identified some people. However, we are yet to receive any information,” he said.
Meanwhile, the police informed that the investigation is on-going and reported that some of the victims have shifted to Dimapur for medical attention.
“We are doing round the clock patrolling in the area. The investigation is fully on,” a police official said.
