Mokokchung, Tuensang, Zunheboto, Longleng, Mon districts to be affected
The Department of Power, Mokokchung Division has informed that vegetation clearance for 132kV and 66kV transmission lines under Transmission Division Mokokchung is scheduled from 25 April to 31 May 2024.
In this regard, the Executive Engineer of Transmission Division Mokokchung, Er Hekaito Assumi has informed that there will be a total shutdown of power supply from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm daily to facilitate smooth execution of the works. This exercise is necessitated with the aim to provide stable power supply and avoid unwarranted disruption of supply, the department added.
The department appealed to all public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
