In an urgent update on late Tuesday evening, the Mokokchung Electrical Sub-Division, Department of Power, informed that the 33 kV Mokokchung main line incomer would be shut down from 9:00 AM on Wednesday to restore a power line damaged by a landslide caused by excavation near the pole in Marepkong Ward, Mokokchung.
It was stated that the affected areas would include Mokokchung town, Asetkong, and Ongpangkong ranges. The department has requested the general public to bear with the inconvenience.
