The Transmission Division of Mokokchung has announced a schedule for vegetation clearance along the 132kV and 66kV transmission lines, set to take place from October 21 to November 16, 2024. The operation will require a total power shutdown daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM to ensure the smooth execution of the work. This clearance is aimed at providing a stable power supply and preventing future disruptions.
The department has requested public cooperation during the shutdown period and apologized for any inconvenience caused. Below is the schedule of affected areas:
October 21-26, 2024: 66kV Tuli, Naginimora, Tizit, and Mon transmission lines affecting Changtongya Sub-Division, Tuli Sub-Division, Longleng, and Mon Districts.
October 28 – November 2, 2024: 66kV Zunheboto transmission line affecting Zunheboto District.
November 4-8, 2024: 132kV Doyang transmission line.
November 11-16, 2024: 132kV Longnak transmission line affecting Longnak and Mangkolemba Sub-Divisions.
The department appealed to all the public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
