The Transmission Division Mokokchung has announced the schedule for vegetation clearance along the 132kV and 66kV transmission lines, to be carried out from October 20 to November 22, 2025.
In view of the works, there will be a total power shutdown from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily during the scheduled period to facilitate smooth execution. The department stated that this exercise is aimed at ensuring stable power supply and preventing unwarranted disruptions in the future.
The department has also appealed to the public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear with the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
Below is the detailed schedule for the vegetation:
From October 20 to 25, 2025, the 66kV Tuensang Transmission Line will undergo vegetation clearance. There will be no power shutdown in this period, as the Tuensang Division will be fed through the alternative 66kV Kiphire–Tuensang line.
From October 27 to November 1, 2025, the 66kV Zunheboto Transmission Line will be cleared, affecting the entire Zunheboto District.
From November 3 to 8, 2025, the 132kV DHEP Transmission Line will undergo maintenance; the affected areas have not been specified.
From November 10 to 15, 2025, vegetation clearance will be carried out on multiple feeders — 66kV Tuli T/L, 66kV Naginimora T/L, 66kV Tizit T/L, and 66kV Mon T/L — affecting Changtongya Sub-Division, Tuli Sub-Division, Longleng, and Mon District.
From November 17 to 22, 2025, the 132kV Longnak Transmission Line will be cleared, affecting the Longnak and Mangkolemba Sub-Divisions.
