The Department of Power has announced a scheduled shutdown of the 33 kV main incomer line from Aolichen to Mokokchung town on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The shutdown is necessary to facilitate jungle clearance along the Mokokchung-Aolichen area, a preventive measure aimed at ensuring uninterrupted power supply during the festive season.
The areas affected by the shutdown will include Mokokchung town and the Asetkong range.
In a statement, Er Achanger T Aier, Sub-Divisional Officer of Mokokchung Electrical Sub-Division, urged the general public to cooperate with the department during this maintenance work.
