Kohima, July 18 (MTNews): The Presidential Election, 2022 was successfully conducted for the state of Nagaland on 18th July 2022 at the Annexe, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Kohima. Additional Secretary, NLA & Assistant Returning Officer, Presidential Election, 2022, Khruohituonuo Rio, through a press release informed that 59 sitting members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly participated in the election.
She also stated that Kejong Chang was the oldest member who took part in the election. Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Y.M. Yollow Konyak could not take part in the election due to health issues.
