Mokokchung, December 2 (MTNews): The proposed road blockade on the Dr. Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH) road from Police Point and the approach road to IMDH from Sewak Gate, which was set to begin today, has been postponed.
Sources told Mokokchung Time that the blockade was suspended following a notification from the Urban Development Department that the amount sanctioned for repairing the debilitated hospital road in Mokokchung town has been released.
It was further informed that the four youth associations of Penli, Majakong, Lijaba Lijen, and Artang wards, as well as the respective ward authorities, will meet with the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung on Friday to deliberate further on the issue.
