Mokokchung, October 3 (MTNews): The Queen Mary Higher Secondary School Alumni Association organized a Career Talk on the theme “Plan your success,” at Queen Mary Hr. Sec. School auditorium, Mokokchung with Er. Atoba Longkumer, Co-founder, Tabernacle, and Sentilong Ozukum, SDO (Civil) Mokokchung, both alumni of the school, were the resource persons at the career talk.

Er. Atoba Longkumer highlighted his start-up “Tabernacle” and urged the students to envision a future in which we would be able to create apps on both a local and an international scale.

 

He praised India’s strong startup environment and urged the students to capitalize on it in order to participate in the startup revolution. He continued by saying that as the world moves toward a skilled economy, the necessity for science and technology is increasing. He advised the students to embrace and be excited about science and technology. He also provided current-era employment possibilities that are in demand.

 

Sentilong Ozukum stated that individuals always behave in accordance with their beliefs when he spoke about the system, the self, and the truth. He claimed that in order to alter oneself, one must know the truth. He said that in order to integrate into the system, a person must first understand themselves.

 

He advised the students to assess their skills and assets and to quit the system if they didn’t feel like they belonged there. He exhorted them to strive outside their comfort zones and not limit their abilities.

 

The session was followed by a Q&A session. Father Sajimon, Principal of QMHSS, presented the closing remarks and concluded the event with a prayer.
