Mokokchung, 31 May (MTNews): Rajya Sabha MP from Nagaland, Phangnon Konyak held a press conference today, showering accolades on the Modi-led government. The conference, dedicated to reflecting on Modi’s nine years of governance, witnessed Konyak commending the government for bringing “unprecedented changes” on the country’s development since coming to power in 2014.
“Ever since the Modi government came to power in 2014, there has been an unprecedented change in the development of the country,” she said.
Highlighting the government’s commitment to uplifting the downtrodden, Konyak praised the various projects and schemes that embody this vision. She cited examples of the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which has benefited around 32,000 individuals in Nagaland alone, ensuring access to healthcare for those who previously couldn’t afford it.
She also mentioned that the government has achieved notable success in the implementation of the Direct Benefit Transfer program as part of the Digital India initiative. Furthermore, she highlighted that 16,000 houses have been constructed in Nagaland through the PM Awas Yojana.
“What India was before 2014 and what India is now is there for all to see,” she said, adding that the Modi-led government is a government that does not go back on its promise.
“This is a government which works for the people…a government that works with a vision,” she added.
