Mokokchung, February 20 (MTNews): The fourth and final day of the Plate Group match between Nagaland and Sikkim, played in Kolkata, saw Nagaland team coming out on top after exhibiting some good cricket. With the win, Nagaland garnered all precious 6 points from the match. Sikkim were struggling at 197/6 at stumps on day three and were bundled out for 283 on day 4. Sumit Singh (85) held the ground for a while to ensure Sikkim post a defendable total, leaving Nagaland to chase down 173 to win in a session. However, some brilliant batting by Nagaland, led by opener Yugandhar Singh’s knock of 40 and Shrikant Mundhe’s steady 59 not out, ensured the teams vital victory. Nagaland skipper Jonathan, who was bowled out for naught in the first innings, made a quick fire 32.
