Students in the RC Chiten Jamir Memorial Govt High School, Changtongya celebrated its school cultural day on Monday, 28 August, 2023. This school is one of the oldest high schools in Mokokchung district, established 1962. Earlier known as GHS Changtongya, the school was rechristened in honour of the former Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland and one of the founding fathers of the present State of Nagaland, RC Chiten Jamir.
