The Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland State Branch, led by General Secretary Akhale V Khamo, has extended immediate relief to victims of the recent landslide in Pherima village. The devastating mudslide claimed lives and caused significant damage to homes, wayside hotels, and infrastructure, displacing several families.
In response, the General Secretary, along with a dedicated team from the Managing Committee, quickly mobilized resources to assist those affected. The relief efforts included the distribution of essential items such as blankets, hygiene kits, and kitchen sets to address the urgent needs of the victims.
