Mokokchung, March 9 (MTNews): Advisor of Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA), Rosemary Dzüvichü, who also attended the consultative meeting on Naga Peace Process and ULB elections today, told Mokokchung Times that the NMA was deeply grateful to the Chief Minister, Chairman of UDA, and the Deputy Chief Minister, tribe leaders, civil society leaders, and political parties who supported women reservation and holding of ULB elections at the earliest. “Naga women have struggled for our constitutional rights and it has been a long one,” she said. She also conveyed hope that the Ao Senden will “rethink for the Ao sisters and development of the towns in Mokokchung District.” She also said, “Today is a red letter day for Naga women and we remember with deep gratitude late Aunty Temsusola, Watsü Mungdang, who stood by us throughout the years of legal struggle.”
