Red Run 3.0 logo unveiled, registration opens for general category

A curtain raiser press conference for Red Run 3.0 was held at the Nagaland Olympic Association Office, Kohima, on October 23, 2025. The event marked the official unveiling of the Red Run 3.0 logo and the opening of entries for general category participants.

The Red Run 3.0 is organized by the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) in collaboration with the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) and the Nagaland Athletics Association (NAA).

Hosted by the Government of Nagaland and supported by the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, the initiative aims to raise public awareness on HIV prevention, reduce stigma, and promote community participation in the national response to HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

The press conference featured three major launches: the official logo of Red Run 3.0, a QR code for registration in the Open (General) Category 2 km run, and the official jersey for Open Category runners. Officials stated, “Red Run 3.0 is a flagship initiative aimed at raising awareness on HIV and STIs, promoting healthy and active lifestyles, and engaging youth and communities in collective action for health and well-being.”

The 2 km Open Category Run is expected to attract around 700 participants, including representatives from schools, colleges, youth organizations, churches, government departments, NGOs, and other partners. Online registration is open for 200 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, and will close automatically once the limit is reached.

The 10 km Competitive Category will feature state-level champions from 35 States and Union Territories. The logo, QR code, and jerseys were officially launched by Dr. Abu Sekhose, Neivikuolie Khatsu, Ate Sakhrie, and Neingulie Nakhro.
