Nagaland’s gaming startup, ReDimension Games, their creation, “Sojourn Past,” emerged as the winner in the “Upcoming Game of the Year” category at the 15th India Game Developer Conference (IGDC). The announcement came during a gathering at HICC, Hyderabad, on November 3, 2023.
“Sojourn Past” was among five finalists competing for the prestigious award, with tough contenders including “Dream Cricket 2024” by Dream Game Studios, “Fishbowl” by imissmyfriends.studio (Runner-up), “Metal Haven” by Xigma Games, and “Indus Battle Royale” by SuperGaming.
“Sojourn Past” is a pixel art action-adventure game set in an enchanting and mysterious world, inviting players to join the protagonist on a journey to unveil the many secrets held within. The game features a unique blend of action and bullet hell combat gameplay, combined with light-platforming elements. Its immersive world is brought to life with beautiful art and captivating music.
Gamers and enthusiasts can anticipate the official release of “Sojourn Past” in 2024, promising an exciting addition to the gaming landscape.
