Impur, 24 March (MTNews): The refresher course for the alumni of Impur Bible Seminary was successfully held from March 7 – 24, 2023. Altogether 30 alumni who are working in different parts of India and the world at large attended the course.
“It was a dream come true for the IBS to have such an intensive course whereby a holistic approach to the present world scenario was possible,” said Imtila Longkümer, Principal, Impur Bible Seminary, in a news statement.
“In a context where living has become so perplexing,” she remarked, “the primary need for church workers is to present sound teachings in all corners.”
Longkumer claimed that this training was conducted after understanding the necessity for leaders.
The IBS also celebrated its 68th foundation day on March 24, 2023, in the presence of alumni, where Rev Dr Mar Pongener, Executive Secretary, ABAM, urged everybody to work without attrition at all times since God considers how one works, not how long one works.
“Let us work with accountability,” added Pongener.
IBS thanked ABAM for all of their assistance since the seminary’s inception and said they look forward to working together in all endeavors.
