Kohima, 2 June (MTNews): All non-governmental organizations (NGOs) intending to set up Integrated Rehabilitation Centers for Addicts (IRCA), Deendayal Disabled Rehabilitation Scheme (DDRS), and Integrated Program for Senior Citizen/Older Person (IPSRC/IPOP) in the state have been directed to register with the Directorate of Social Welfare.
This registration requirement aims to facilitate the monitoring of the NGOs’ activities through the Deputy Commissioner.
The decision was made during the Multi-Disciplinary Grant-in-Aid (GIA) Committee meeting held on 31 January 2023.
