In response to the recent landslides in the Phenjang and NST sectors, the Tuensang District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has established a relief camp at Tuensang Village, C/Khel Local ground. The camp, which was set up today, is designed to assist the 768 individuals affected by the disaster.

On the first day of operation, 64 people have already relocated to the camp, with additional arrivals anticipated in the coming days. The camp aims to provide temporary shelter and essential support to those displaced by the landslides.

In addition to the relief efforts, one family has been transferred to the Tuensang District Hospital for further medical treatment. The DDMA continues to monitor the situation and coordinate assistance to ensure the well-being of all affected individuals.
