Subject: Request for Construction of Naga Chaplain Permanent Residence at the plot of land at Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) Vellore purchased at the Time of Late. Rev. Dr. Noksangchila.
Respected Sir,
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to all of the NBCC staff members. With great respect, I would like to inform you that in 2001, while Rev. Dr. Noksangchila was the chaplain at CMCH Vellore, she became aware of the plight of the Naga people. With permission from your office, she organized a fund drive and raised Rs. 4,50,000/- (four lakh and fifty thousand only) to buy a plot of land at the CMCH Vellore Compound. The purpose was to build a guest house for the Naga people who came for treatment. I assume that all of the paperwork associated with buying the aforementioned land has been delivered to your office. Since the Government of Nagaland is taking the initiatives in construction of a patient house Thus, I humbly request NBCC to kindly look into this matter. If possible, NBCC may build a residential quarter for the chaplain. If permitted I can facilitate Rev. Dr. Noksangchila’s family and village leaders to mobilize resources to contribute towards her vision for a hope and care centre at Vellore.
Therefore, I would like to remind you to take the necessary steps to initiate and complete the construction of the Naga Chaplain’s permanent residence at the earliest convenience. This facility is crucial for supporting the spiritual and community activities led by the Chaplain.
