The Rengma Cultural and Film Society met with the Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan, at the Police Complex, Chümoukedima, on March 31, 2025, to discuss our upcoming project, A Documentary on Rengma History, Culture, and Tradition.

RCFSL President, A Shyerhunlo Lorin, introduced the Rengma Cultural and Film Society and its members to the Governor. Aga Rengma then presented a detailed report on their upcoming documentary, emphasizing the importance of preserving the rich culture and traditions of our people through literature and motion pictures.
They also apprised the Governor of our past activities, including the beautification of Raj Bhavan, Kohima, with indigenous art and sculptures—an effort to promote and celebrate our heritage. The Governor acknowledged their work in preserving and promoting Naga culture and assured us of his support in whatever way he could. RCFSL also sought his guidance in navigating government agencies and schemes that could help strengthen our initiatives.
The meeting concluded on a warm and positive note, with Aga Rengma delivering a vote of thanks to the Governor for his time, encouragement, and valuable suggestions.
